Olson Golf Academy LLC ("Olson Golf Academy," "we," "us") provides golf instruction in Orem, Vineyard, and the surrounding Utah County area. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how our text messaging works.
What we collect
We collect only what you give us: your name, phone number, email address, and anything you tell us about your golf game when you book a lesson or send us a question. If you book online, our scheduling provider also records your appointment time.
How we use it
- To schedule, confirm, and remind you about your lessons.
- To send you the written practice plan and follow-up notes after a lesson.
- To answer questions you send us.
- To occasionally share news about programs, camps, and clinics — you can opt out of these at any time.
We do not sell or share your information
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We use service providers (for scheduling, email, text messaging, payment, and customer records) strictly to operate the business, and they may only use your information to provide those services to us.
SMS / text messaging
When you give us your mobile number on the signup form on our website (olsongolfacademy.com), Olson Golf Academy LLC may text you. Texts cover:
- Customer care texts: replies to your lesson inquiries, appointment confirmations and reminders, scheduling and rebooking, and follow-up notes after a lesson.
- Marketing texts: lesson specials, clinics, camps and programs.
- Message frequency varies, typically a few messages a month around your lessons.
- Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one confirmation and no further texts.
- Reply HELP for help, call (385) 374-1593, or email tyler@olsongolfacademy.com.
- Texting is not a condition of purchase. You can book a lesson without signing up.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Cookies and tracking
Our website does not use advertising cookies or sell browsing data. Our hosting provider may use essential cookies and collect basic, anonymous technical information (such as browser type and pages visited) to keep the site secure and working. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
How we protect your information
Your information is stored with reputable service providers that use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls. Only Olson Golf Academy staff who need your information to serve you can access it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access.
Minors
Lessons for players under 18 are booked by a parent or guardian, and we communicate with that parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children.
Keeping your information
We keep student records for as long as you are a student and for a reasonable period afterward, so that your lesson history and practice plans stay useful to you. You may ask us to correct or delete your information at any time.
Your rights and choices
To stop texts, reply STOP at any time. To stop emails, use the unsubscribe link in any email. You can ask us to see, update, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing tyler@olsongolfacademy.com or calling (385) 374-1593, and we will take care of it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
